I am SO grateful for RC!!! As a first time parent, anxiety had a chokehold on me leading up to my daughter’s birth. Until I met RC! My partner and I didn’t know what to expect from working with a doula, but RC put us at ease immediately. We felt so comfortable with them right off the bat.
RC was a hugely helpful person to have on my team as I prepared to try for an unmedicated vaginal birth, wrote a birth plan, and then had to shift plans completely when our baby was breech and didn’t want to flip. I interviewed four doulas and knew immediately when I spoke with RC that we were a good match.
I am eternally grateful for RC. As a first time, single mom by choice, I was very nervous about the birthing process and felt very overwhelmed. RC took the time to validate my feelings and to help me prepare (as much as is possible!) for the birthing experience.
In the weeks and months after our baby's birth, we found it difficult to have people in our house- not everyone knows how to be helpful! This is the opposite with RC! RC truly knows how to be of service during the vulnerable postpartum time.
