What families say
I am very grateful for Mariam’s help and support with the birth of my first child. Mariam is smart, knowledgeable, empathetic, and has such a reassuring presence that it feels like there is an extra family member in the birthing center with you.
We decided to hire Mariam amidst the height of the COVID pandemic since we weren't getting the same level of visits and interactive birthing information from our OB clinic like we got for our first son.
First off Mariam is both an amazing person and doula ! I delivered my first child in August 2020 admits the COVID-19 pandemic and Mariam was and still is a huge support system for me. I relocated to NC in the middle of pregnancy and during my search for a doula I came across Designated Doula.
You can’t choose how your birth goes, but you can choose your doula — and we vote for Mariam! Mariam came to us highly recommended from an established local doula company, and we agree that she is a true gem. We are so thankful for her support during our birth process.
