What families say
I can’t even begin to describe what a wonderful person Joi is, and how unbelievably grateful I am to her! We started working with Joi a little bit late in the process (I was almost 8 months along) but she was a wealth of knowledge and helped ease all of our first-time-parent nerves.
We couldn’t have been happier with the care that Joi provided us through pregnancy and delivery. I didn’t know much about the role of a doula going in, and I agreed to it because that’s what you do when your pregnant wife wants something, but I came out of the process a real convert.
As a birth doula myself, I knew I needed THE BEST when I got pregnant with my third baby, and that was Joi! She's a former L&D nurse, so she knows so much about how birth works in the hospital space and also what's missing from their typical care and support.
Joi was an incredible support throughout our pregnancy and especially during the birth of our baby. Her calm, steady presence made such a difference during labor. She helped me clearly communicate my preferences and stayed by my side the entire time.
