My partner & I hired Tia to help us with our first baby. As new parents expecting their first child during a global pandemic, we knew we needed all the support we could get. We had 2 prenatal appointments, 2 postpartum visits, and 24-hour labor support with Tia.
I was looking for a doula that had credentials with my hospital. I found Tia in December and was due in January. In that short time we made my birth plan and went through different laboring positions. My labor was very quick but Tia was in contact with me the whole time and was very helpful while I labored.
Tia served as our doula! My birthing experience from the beginning to the end was 10x’s better because of Tia! I was informed prior to arriving for my delivery, we had a plan and we executed perfectly. Tia assisted with laboring techniques at home and we used them until we were about 7cm dilated.
Having a doula on your side to answer the difficult questions and offer hands on techniques and strategies was more than I could ask for. Tia was fully invested in my pregnancy and labor. She even carried the baby and a few of my things as was to my recovery room.
