What families say
I am currently almost 41 weeks and was apprehensive about my pregnancy because my current doctors were stressing me and trying to coerce me into being induced which I felt was not necessary. However I wanted to get a second opinion and was looking for someone who could answer some questions and calm my nerves.
Being first time parents, my husband and I were terrified of the childbirth experience. We didn’t know what to expect, and unfortunately, we didn’t have family nearby. We started toying with the idea of hiring a doula, and we decided to do some research and interviews.
My husband and I were the type of people who were on the fence about hiring a doula. In my husband's words, he wasn't sure if a doula would "make a difference." After my birth, my husband remarked that he was so glad Lindsay was there to support us.
We were so lucky to have Lindsay as our doula for both our son and daughter. With our first, the birth was relatively uncomplicated. We drew our strength from Lindsay’s unwavering support, gentle guidance, and constant awareness.
