Everyone should get a doula!!! And Bliss was the absolute best! I hesitated to hire a doula, since I was going to have to pay for it out of pocket, and it’s pretty expensive. It’s unfortunate that our healthcare system doesn’t cover this cost at least under your health insurance deductible/out of pocket max.
Bliss is beyond amazing. I can’t recommend her highly enough. I didn’t know what a postpartum doula was or did at the start of our time with Bliss, and now I can’t imagine how my wife and I would have survived the first few months of parenthood without Bliss’ support.
Spending the money to hire Bliss was the best thing I did for myself, my partner, and my baby. Bliss was my doula for my second pregnancy. I didn’t have a doula for my first and boy do I wish I had! Bliss is calm, wonderful, and insightful. She provided open-ended guidance in a non-judgmental way.
