My husband and I reached out to Andrea specifically for postpartum support. We were getting ready for our first child, and I really wanted to have someone to talk to on a regular basis about my recovery and those early days of parenting.
Andrea was amazing. She stepped in for me last minute when my birthing circumstances became unclear. My OB became sick and I was going to have to deliver with a doctor I had never met before and potentially at a hospital that I hadn't originally chosen. This was my first birth going without the epidural.
Andrea was so great! She stepped in as my backup doula when my original doula had Covid hit her family. Without being able to meet beforehand it didn’t seem to matter as Andrea was so supportive in my birth where I achieved my goal of an unmedicated VBAC.
Andrea is such a calm and confident individual. She’s very professional and will bend over backwards to make your birthing experience perfect. She was so willing to come as soon as I needed her and she even grabbed us a pizza!:). She stayed with us until we saw our baby girl, which was over 12 hours!
