I had pondered the idea of using a postpartum doula for quite awhile during my pregnancy. Then I suddenly went into preterm labor and our time with our little one started earlier than expected. My husband and I tried to manage on our own (and google) but we found our son to really struggle with his feedings.
Hiring Riannon to be our postpartum doula was the single best decision we made as new parents. Her support was an investment in my health and our family's well-being. The gift of true, restorative sleep was immediate and transformative, allowing me to properly heal and manage the emotional demands of the newborn phase.
