What families say
Hiring a doula for my second birth wasn’t something I initially thought I needed to do. I had already experienced a natural childbirth and felt confident in my ability to do it again.
Whitney was amazing!!! This was my first birth and my husband and I went in knowing the basics, but not everything. She did a great job explaining everything in detail, answering all our questions and she did it all while making us feel comfortable and without judgement!
Whitney was the missing piece. Although we are seasoned parents, with our 4th child we decided to switch from a traditional hospital birth (with an epidural) to an unmediated birth center birth for the first time. This switch came with excitement but also a lot of unknowns.
This was my second birth and I knew I wanted it to be a different experience. I had my heart set on doing it unmedicated and after doing my research, having a doula present is a huge factor in achieving this. I found Whitney, and after interviewing her immediately felt comfortable and like I was in good hands!
