What families say
When Aijanae set out to create Village to village doulas, I’m sure her goal was to create a network for pregnant people to feel protected, empowered and supported. I can say that choosing village to village was one of the best decisions I made throughout my pregnancy.
There were a lot of unknowns for us as first time parents but it was nice to know our doula, an experienced, patient, kind-hearted woman was taking care of our newborn during the first few weeknights! I was respected and cared-for at all times and received help when I least expected it.
We started working with Aijanae when we needed overnight support for our newborn daughter (6 weeks old at the time) when my husband had returned to work and we both desperately needed to catch up on sleep.
We worked with Village to Village on three occasions for postpartum services: day support, overnights, and ultimately sleep training. It was one of the best decisions we made during, what was, quite a difficult time with our 4 month old daughter.
