It’s proven that having a doula improves your chances for a favorable outcome during pregnancy and at delivery. Having a doula was always in my planning, but getting a GOOD doula, was my silent wish, my prayer. A good doula is knowledgeable, caring, doesn’t push her own agenda , provides resources and recommendations.
I booked with Village Maternal Services because I needed help with breastfeeding. I was unable to latch my 7week old at birth & tried other LC but was still struggling. Adiliah came right on in & assessed me for breastfeeding. We had my little latched by the end of the session. She’s very professional & informative.
