Working with Emily was my doula dream come true. I was hoping for a VBAC and felt like I didn’t have a ton of support. People were really confused about why I wanted to skip the option for a scheduled c-section. I knew I needed an extra support system and Emily delivered.
Emily is phenomenal. She is kind, gentle, caring and very knowledgeable. We had to have a c-section and she was present the entire time and I was so thankful to have her with me before, during and after the procedure…..because it was the biggest thing I have ever experienced in my whole life.
We were able to share our first home-birth experience with Emily and it was amazing. She has such a calm demeanor that makes you feel relaxed about everything. She is so knowledgeable and was always ready with resources or the ability to get them quickly. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula.
Emily was such a bright light and integral team member for our family's birth plan. She communicated openly and supported us at every stage of the process. I can't recommend Umae Doula's services enough!!
