The BEST thing I did to prepare for having my baby was to hire a postpartum doula. She knew about pumping, breastfeeding, belly wrapping, baby wearing, ways to organize the nursery and postpartum areas for efficiency, pelvic floor health, mental health, and getting a routine set for me and the baby.
Tina is a wonderful post partum doula. She is kind and caring, and has extensive experience dealing with both older children and infants. She also provides a lot of support to recovering new moms and knowledge to help them bond with their baby.
Tina is amazing. I wasn't really sure what I needed help with, I just knew I was going to need a hand post c-section with a 18 month old running around. That's the best thing about Tina, you can just take care of yourself and baby and she does the rest... from laundry to trash to cooking to dishes.
She offers a great service for those first postpartum weeks. She is knowledgeable, comforting, and attentive. She is also very sweet. I highly recommend Tina
