I hired the doula service out of The Nurturey, after a friend told me to strongly consider getting a doula for my birth. With this being my first baby, I wanted to help myself as much as I could so I took my friends advice.
I was a few weeks postpartum when I reached out to Jess. I had reoccurring mastitis and was wanting to quit pumping. Jess did an at-home visit with me and set up a plan to get me to my goal of not producing any more milk. Unfortunately, I started having mastitis symptoms again.
