Our family had the distinct honor to work with Emma from Luna Doula. We welcomed her into our home after our paid leave stopped. She worked with our twins who both have genetic conditions. Our daughter has Down syndrome and our son has. Prader Willi syndrome which made finding the right caregiver difficult.
We hired Emma to help us 3 days a week when our daughter was about 8 weeks old. She was very accommodating of our schedule and started off coming overnight to watch the baby so we could sleep. She also asked for extra work she could do around the house including laundry and dishes, which was extremely useful.
Emma saaaaaaved us. When we brought our preemie baby home, we were overwhelmed, too put it mildly. She did one overnight every week for us for the first three months. She is so knowledgeable and helpful. She gave us advice about how to help with our gassy little baby who had trouble eating.
