The fourth trimester is the hardest by far - don’t wait, book Emily now! :) I’d never heard of a postpartum doula but she was recommended to me by a friend. This is my first pregnancy and I can’t imagine the last few months without Emily as part of our village.
We had Emily help us and are so glad we did! She was such a wonderful help during those first few weeks of waking up not even knowing what day it was :) She is so warm, a great listener, smart and proactive. She was also so positive and supportive for our small wins during those exhausting and stressful first months.
Emily is such an amazing woman. She let me rest while taking care of my newborn, made sure I ate, made sure I was okay, etc. She made everything so much easier. She even gave me advice on breastfeeding, taking care of my baby, taking care of myself through this new journey.
Emily provides a wonderful service - she is flexible, knowledgeable, non-judgmental, and supportive. She made the postpartum transition much more manageable and less stressful for our family!
