I spent a good amount of time researching different doulas before deciding on Katie and Cierra. The first thing I noticed was how prepared they were with so many valuable resources and tools. They provide a “Mary Poppin’s bag” of gems that other doulas charged extra for or would encourage you to get yourself.
I highly recommend using Suburban Family Doulas! I met with Katie and Cierra virtually, and Katie and Cierra each on a solo pre-birth meeting. Each meeting was informative, engaging, and very much about my birth plan, preferences, and how to facilitate those wishes both as my husband and my doula.
Katie is so nice and a great doula. She is very easy to get along with. I was very close to having my baby when she arrived and she did not waste any time. She stepped right in and provided the relief I needed to get me through those last moments of labor before welcoming my baby.
Absolutely amazing support during my pregnancy, during a very trying birth and during postpartum. Cierra is amazing at what she does, it's like having your own cheerleader. I don't think I could have made it through all of the changes that happened without her and my husband by my side.
