Jess Long drastically improved my birth experience. I went into it with a "wait and see" approach but with the hope to have an unmedicated birth. I was around 5 cm dilated when Jess arrived and I was already thinking that I wouldn't make it without an epidural. But with her help, I had an unmedicated birth.
We moved to Denver during my second trimester, and I had no clue which way to turn when looking for a doula or postpartum support. We were lucky enough to find Jess, and I don’t know what we would have done without her. From our first conversation about our birth preferences it was clear Jess was the right fit for us.
My husband and I were so grateful to have Jess as our doula. Pre-birth she answered all the questions we had and made us feel more prepared, during birth I felt so supported and more confident going into labor, post birth she was so helpful with breastfeeding.
We couldn’t have asked for a better birth experience and that is largely due to having Jessica there by our side. We were extremely grateful to have her support. She made us feel calm, comfortable, and heard throughout the entire process.
