My husband and I hired Laura as our doula for my pregnancy and baby girl's birth in 2024. I truly cannot say enough good things about our experience. From the moment we met, I felt so comfortable and at ease, despite having so much anxiety and fear around birth.
We met and decided to work with Laura around 16 weeks into an unremarkable pregnancy for a planned home birth, but things went absolutely the opposite of what we planned. Our little girl was stillborn at 21 weeks and six days gestation at a hospital in Seattle.
Laura was a tremendous help during my birth. We met beforehand to go over my birth plan. When it came time for my birth, she came (in the middle of the night) and assisted me with breathing techniques and pain management. She even took pictures that I will cherish for ever!
My wife and I are beyond grateful for Laura. She is everything we hoped for on a doula. She is kind, considerate, respectful and professional. She showed up for us and was there 100% and we are so thankful that we chose her to be our doula. I recommend her to anyone and am giving her 5 starts.
