Where San Antonio Birthkeeper works
What families say
I couldn't give a better review of Tara and what she offers. I knew of her through online groups over the last few years and when I initially became pregnant, I had planned to birth with assistance in a center. Plans changed and we chose to do an unassisted homebirth.
Tara is an exceptional birthworker, truly committed to the family she serves and rooted in faith. Over the years that I've known her I've been in awe of her dedication, commitment to learning and education, and her non judgement approach to providing autonomous care and support for freebirthing families.
We had an excellent home birth experience with Tara Alexander. She is highly professional, patient, understanding, and comes fully prepared with all her own birthing equipment. Her rates are incredibly affordable for the level of care she provides. Tara even stayed by our side until 4 AM to cut the umbilical cord.
I don’t know what I would’ve done without her help the first few hours after birth! Most likely saved me from an unnecessary transfer as no one else would’ve understood how recovery works and what’s “normal”. I really appreciate everything Tara did!! Tara is absolutely amazing!!
