Second birth with Dana as my doula** When we found out I was pregnant with my second baby, I freaked out since my first baby was delivered via cesarean and I knew I wanted to pursue a VBAC. It was an emotional and vulnerable decision. I knew that Dana would make all the difference for my vbac attempt.
I found Dana through my midwife at Malachite Midwifery as we wanted the team to have worked together before- doula and midwives. This was my first pregnancy and birth. I knew I wanted a doula to support myself and husband on this unknown and beautiful journey.
We hired Dana for our home birth and had such a fantastic experience! To be honest, we were considering not hiring a doula for a while. This was our 4th baby, and my husband and I are a great team and have our system worked out pretty well.
Dana was an incredible support during the end of my pregnancy, and through my labor and delivery, all on short short notice! I was late into my third trimester when I reached out to Dana to find out if she was available for my delivery and luckily she was!
