TL;DR: Pay the money. Totally worth it. While you are mired in the fog of war/childbirth, Steph has her head in the game from beginning to end. She doesn't forget the game plan, and she knows the entire playbook even when you have forgotten how to read in the moment.
We started working with Stephanie around 20 weeks into my pregnancy. I took lactation courses from her (before my baby was born) and she attended the birth of our daughter. Stephanie continued her support after my daughter was born and provided lactation consultation.
Stephanie was the doula for the birth of my son back in December 2019. This was my third pregnancy/child and my first experience with a doula. Stephanie was extremely empowering and made the birthing experience much less stressful for me. I was induced and had to be at the hospital super early.
