Vanessa was with us from pregnancy through two months postpartum and was essential to our sanity, sleep and learning as new parents. I so appreciate that Vanessa took the time to teach us how to care for both baby and myself, adapting to the style that we wanted and educating us on options.
We partnered with Vanessa during my pregnancy, and she was truly an incredible support system for both me and my husband. She provided two prenatal visits where she thoughtfully guided us through exercises to prepare for delivery, foods to eat and avoid, and how to be fully prepared when the due date arrived.
I highly recommend Vanessa as a birth doula. I had an induction, and my birth plan ended up looking very different from what I originally expected. Vanessa adapted quickly, helped me create an induction-specific plan, and consistently made sure my voice and preferences were respected.
