My husband and I welcomed our son in February 2022. We were first time parents with a decade long journey to trying to have a baby with a lot of loss. We were super nervous and had some anxiety about bringing baby home so we decided to look into hiring a postpartum doula to help us with those first few days.
Where do I even begin? From the first day meeting my doulas Chrissy & Kelley from Om Mamas, I knew I would love my experience with them, but I could never have imagined how impactful and transformative they would be throughout my whole pregnancy and especially the birth of my first son.
For my third pregnancy, I decided I wanted things done my way with the help and support of doulas. I was paired with Chrissy and Hollie and they were both amazing! They are so easy to talk to, not only did they give me confidence in my own decisions, but they offered their knowledge whenever I needed it.
Hiring OM Mamas Doulas and having Elizabeth as my doula throughout my pregnancy, delivery and post partum was probably one of the best decisions I ever could have made. I’m not sure that words will ever suffice!
