What families say
So I decided to have my last and final baby at a birthing center. The midwives strongly encouraged me to get a doula. I started interviewing doulas that were recommended. The first 5 minutes after interviewing Matteah I KNEW she was the doula for me.
My water broke early at around 32 weeks, and I was hospitalized for almost 2 weeks to be induced at 34. I had not gotten around to taking any birthing classes at that point because I thought I had more time. I was feeling totally out of my element and scared... Matteah came to my rescue!!
My family had a fantastic experience using Matteah as our doula. When we first hired a doula, we weren't exactly sure what to expect or what the purpose of having a doula would be. However, Matteah exceeded our expectations.
Matteah was my doula for both of my births! I had two hospital births—one unmedicated vaginal birth and one planned c section. There were stressful and complicated components to both of my births, and Matteah’s support for my husband and I was truly invaluable.
