It's taken me a week to find the right words for my experience with NuBeing Doula Services. Firstly, when I decided I wanted to have a homebirth I knew I NEEDED a doula. I have my husband, but what I needed from him was different, and his knowledge of birth only goes so far.
When I realized at 36 weeks that I felt underprepared for childbirth, I worried that I would be unable to find a doula or a childbirthing education class on short notice, and was not thrilled about the idea of doing impersonal online modules.
Whitley is the best! I started services at 28 weeks with Whitley. Let me start off & say. My pregnancy wasn’t the easiest also being in a difficult position. Whitley was there with me through it all, mentally and physically just really showing she cares.
If you’re on the fence about a doula, Whitley will have you wondering how you ever considered going without one! I’m a physician and thought being in healthcare I may not need one, but I’m so grateful to have booked her.
