What families say
Shea was absolutely amazingly supportive through and after my birth experience. My baby was born just as the Covid-19 pandemic shut-downs were beginning and the hospital refused them access (which is a whole different story of frustration).
The team Nisse Body and Birth provided great support during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Ellyn and Leona are very knowledgeable from years of doula work as well as from reading the latest medical studies. They shared this information in a non-judgemental way and helped us to prepare for birth and postpartum.
Shea was an absolute dream to work with! I felt so completely safe and supported by them through the whole experience (prep leading up to birth, laboring at home and then at hospital, aftercare follow-ups).
Shea and Ellyn are the ultimate birth team. They can support any type of family situation and are so affirming. Shea was my birth support doula and made me feel so safe and in control during a very long and difficult labor. I originally wanted to have an unmedicated birth, and 26+ hours in I decided to get an epidural.
