What families say
Mel was our doula for 2 births. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wishes to have birth support (which, let's be honest, is most of us!). She met with my husband and I a few times before the birth to answer any questions we had, discuss our birth plan, and to teach us about the stages of labor and birth.
Melissa was our doula for our first pregnancy and she was absolutely invaluable as a resource and helped me immediately and immensely with any questions, worries, or issues I had. I felt so reassured and taken care of during the pregnancy, birth, and post-partum.
Mel made all the difference in my birth. There were many times I didn't think I could keep going and she continued to give me so much love and support. My husband is deployed and was not able to be physically present but she made sure he was involved in every possible way.
I’ve been loving my bi-weekly pregnant massages with Mel. She is very professional and compassionate. Being a doula she understands what a pregnant woman’s body is going through and how to relieve the tension and stress. I would recommend her to any of my friends (pregnant or not).
