It is without hesitation that I say Emily and Carla prevented my wife from getting an unnecessary c section. It was an uneventful labor for most of the night with the help of Carla and Emily. The doulas explained to us every step and gave the nurses confidence to let us walk around for most of the labor.
Emily served as our doula for the birth of our second child, and was everything we could have hoped for. While I was still in early labor, she was great; helping me deal with the discomfort and employing several techniques to physically alleviate the pain, and mentally keeping me engaged so I didn’t think about it too…
