Sierra was amazing. I don’t think everything would’ve went as great as it did without her. This being my child and me wanting a natural birth she taught me how to understand my body and work with it,not against it. When I was in pain she taught me some breathing techniques to help endure the discomfort.
I became pregnant with my youngest child during covid. Luckily for me, they said I could have my doula, plus my support person. I really wanted my Mom to be that support person, but I choose my child's Father instead. My youngest isn't our first. The past had shown me that he wasn't the best support during labor.
Sierra came into my life at a very dark time for me. Pregnant and incarcerated I didn’t trust anyone they sent my way and was reluctant at first when I met her. Her genuinely pure energy and uplifting personality assured me I was in good safe hands.
Sierra was my first doula through everyday miracles at the time and she as absolutely amazing!! Any time I had a question or a concern she was all ears, whether it was medically telling me something or just on a mother to mother aspect!!
