I had my first son in 2019 and I worked with Giny. It was a C section and I took a long time for me to recover. Giny help me get better and took care of a lot of tasks such as meal prep, organization and laundry. She made the best lactation cookies and I swear they helped with my supply.
Metropolitan doulas has been an amazing help for my family through the postpartum period. We used them for our first baby and our second as well because they were so helpful. We had two day doulas because of our long term need and a night doula as well.
Metropolitan doulas made the first few months of raising a preemie so much easier. They provided a wonderful night post partum doula Carolina on very short notice who helped us get some sleep and get our baby onto a more routine sleep schedule. Our day postpartum doula Whit is a saint.
