What families say
My very short review is: if you are thinking about hiring a labor doula, do it. If you are considering Metro Detroit Doula Services, hire them. My very long review: when I found out I was pregnant with our second baby I knew I wanted a doula.
When I asked my OBGYN practice if they could recommend a doula, the midwife did not hesitate. I am so glad that we took their recommendation and hired Metro Detroit Doula Services.
I am so grateful I decided to go with MDDS for my first pregnancy and first birth. I originally wanted to have a physiological birth and only natural pregnancy interventions. I then got diagnosed with GDM-2 and had a much different pregnancy experience than I expected.
Andrea and Amy are fantastic! After having a C-section with my twins two years prior, I really wanted a vaginal birth and these girls equipped me with tools and knowledge and answers to make that possible.
