I met up with Amandine the week after meeting a doula that made me feel so uncomfortable and awkward, but as soon as I met Amandine, I knew immediately that she was the one I wanted to support me through my labor.
My husband and I instantly felt a calming and nurturing presence from Amandine during our interview. We knew that we could let her into the most intimate time in our lives with our first baby boy on his way.
Having Amandine before and during labor and delivery was so helpful. We also had her for postpartum services. Before my due date, I would periodically meet with her, and she was always able to share helpful pregnancy advice. She also gave us a crash course in what to expect for L&D.
