Gianna was everything we needed her to be as our birth doula. She was patient and versatile throughout my long, stop-and-go labor. I had communicated to her repeatedly that I knew my husband would play more of the hands-on, active “doula” role and that I needed her there more for ancillary support.
I first met Gianna while searching for a birth photographer for the home birth of my third baby. After an initial phone consult, it was clear that we shared a passion and belief system surrounding the sacred nature of birth and I knew I wanted to work with her.
Gianna helped our family transition to life with two small children. She took wonderful care of my 2 year old daughter at home while I was in labor at the hospital. She sent updates and had me feel so at ease that my daughter was happy and safe at home while I was focusing on bringing a new life into the world.
Gianna is an amazing doula! My location is not near hers but I decided to use her services anyway because of her kind and healing nature. We used video calls for our sessions. She has empowered me so much as I step into this new role of being a mother.
