I first met Lucy when she was hosting a birth circle at her home, and I knew instantly that I would love to have her present at the birth of my baby (who I didn’t yet know was a boy!). Her calm presence, deep knowledge, and many years of experience made me feel an immediate sense of trust and safety.
As an uneducated husband of a woman that wanted a Doula and a free birth I thought what a waste of money! Then I met Lucy (and Betty) who my wife chose and wow! My worries of the system not being a part of our child’s birth and unnecessary intervention all went away! Calming, kind, helpful and supportive!
Can't reccomend Lucy highly enough, she has all the attributes a doula needs... She is extremely knowledgeable and has a reverent wisdom and respect of what is needed to support/hold mother and babe during the physiological birth process.
