What families say
Barbara is an amazing person and doula. I could not have had a natural child birth without her. Despite having an out of touch midwife, Barbara was the saving grace for us.
We had such a positive experience having Barbara as our doula when our daughter was born; when we were expecting our son, we knew we wanted to work with her again. Not only was she a tremendous help to me, she was a great asset to my husband in navigating this exciting and intense situation.
We selected Barbara as our doula based on her very calm, comforting presence and extensive medical knowledge. Barbara was so helpful in developing our birth plan, her medical knowledge and experience from being a midwife were very useful. She is very honest and straightforward, easy to communicate with, and steadying.
Barbara was awesome! She was actually a back-up doula for our primary doula (who couldn't make the birth). Although we had never met, Barbara stepped in and was perfect for us! She was like an angel guiding me through the birth process. I wanted to give birth naturally and was able to do this with Barbara's help.
