If you are considering hiring Oakville Family Birth - JUST DO IT! Jaklyn was such a fantastic support before, during and after birth. Her strong local network and knowledge of all the different birthing options and hospital processes was so valuable to us .
This review is being posted as a result of the experience my wife and I had with Jaklyn and Oakville Family Birth. We initially signed up for private classes at home given we were expecting the birth of our first child.
I would give 10 out of 5 stars if I could! After a difficult birth with my oldest, I knew that I wanted to have a doula as part of my team when I was pregnant with her sibling. Jaklyn and Nicole were huge support with the mental preparation leading up to the big day.
My husband and I took the prenatal prep class. The class consists of childbirth education led by Jacklyn and then a prenatal yoga session with Ashlie. Jacklyn is a wonderful instructor who can demonstrate complex information in a digestible and easy way for everyone to understand.
