I met Kayla at a doula mixer and we immediately hit it off. I loved that she had calm energy, was extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to educate me on what's happening to my body during pregnancy, navigating birth and the hospital system, and teaching me on the options I had for making my birth plan.
Kayla was absolutely fantastic and a huge factor in us having such a positive first birth experience. Before the birth, she helped educate us on the birth stages, medication options, and pretty much everything we needed to know.
Kayla was very educated and offered a calm yet firm energy at delivery. We had three prenatal visits and she answered all of our questions and gave us everything in paper form to refer back to. She was available anytime if I had questions in between. Her presence at birth was beyond worth every penny!
When my wife explained to me what a doula was, it was easy for me to understand the benefits that one would offer us, especially over the course of our first pregnancy. But once we were connected with Kayla, my expectations were very much exceeded! Couldn’t imagine planning for birth without Kayla’s preparation.
