When I found out I was pregnant, I was ECSTATIC! Then I realized in order to bring him into this word, I had to go through childbirth, and my anxiety crept in. I quickly assembled my birthing team, including Alexa, who was a VITAL part in the entire process.
Alexa was my doula and birth photographer for my recent birth. It was my first pregnancy and since I don't have familial support in the area other than my husband, I knew having a doula was going to be really important for navigating birth and the postpartum period.
My pregnancy, birth, and post-partum experience would not have been such a positive experience without Alexa. Going into my 3rd birth, I had quite a bit of anxiety due to being in a new state, not knowing anyone, and past experiences. Alexa was always so comforting and reassuring.
I used Alexa Jade Decker w/ Jade Births as my doula for the birth of my daughter! She is awesome! At the last hour I had to go from a birth center birth to the hospital and Alexa was a huge support and advocate for me at my daughters birth.
