Tara is simply amazing!! She was present before, during, and after the birth of my baby. It was my first pregnancy and Tara was willing to not only come over once but came over several times to talk with me about what labor was like and to help provide much needed guidance.
A New Father’s Perspective When my wife and I had our firstborn son in 2021, Tara was there. I know that doulas are supposed to help the mother, but no one ever thinks of the father with the weak stomach! I knew I would need help supporting my wife during labor.
I cannot recommend Ivy Doula Group enough. If you’re on the hunt for a doula or lactation consultant you can stop searching, you won’t find better than Tara and Amanda. Hiring them one was one of the best decisions made my entire pregnancy, I honestly think they’re worth at least double what they’re charging.
If you are looking for a doula, look no further!! I was so skeptical looking online. I was pretty far along in my second pregnancy and realized I really wanted some advocacy and help with my second L&D experience. When I came across Ivy Doula Group I had told myself I was done looking after contacting them.
