After a very challenging first labor and delivery experience, I knew I needed to hire a doula for my second birth. After interviewing a few candidates, I was fortunate to find Kristin. Despite the distance, she took me on as a client, understanding my desire for an unmedicated labor with minimal intervention.
Kristin was our doula for the birthday of our first baby. My husband and I were nervous about what to expect at the hospital and how to navigate all the decisions when going through labor. Kristin prepped us about what options we had and what we wanted before going into labor.
Kristin was amazing. She stayed with me for days while I labored. When things took an unexpected turn, she stood next to me during an emergency C section. She talked to me , kept me calm, and never left.
