As the husband of an expecting mother I did not believe a Doula was a practical expense or would actually benefit my wife during delivery, as I planned to be there for her and assumed that I was all the support she would ever need.
Rebekah couldn’t have more pivotal in getting the birth experience I was hoping for. She is knowledgeable, aware, comfortable and kind. But mostly she’s strong. Physically, yes, and it’s great for labor, but also mentally and emotionally. She kept me feeling grounded and cared for.
We will always be grateful and feel blessed to have Rebekah, as our doula, by our side during the birth of our first child. Our experience will be remembered as such a positive experience, because all the fear going into labor and delivery dissipated soon after Rebekah arrived.
We absolutely loved having Rebekah as our doula. God blessed us by bringing her into our lives to be apart of the most important event in our lives. She was so helpful in getting us in positions and give ideas to progress labor naturally as possible.
