Carissa was an incredible source of information, prayer, encouragement, and humor for me throughout my pregnancy and birth. She educated me on many evidence based topics surrounding pregnancy and birth, and was always someone I could reach out to for guidance and questions!
Carissa was the best decision we made for our birth. Our birth plan didn’t go as expected early on and she was quick to pivot with us and offer some terrific advice along the way. She was a calm voice/presence to guide us in making decisions and pray over us and baby when I needed it most.
Carissa was absolutely amazing from the very moment we met her. The intial consulation with Carissa was at her home and she was so kind and inviting to my husband and I. We did not feel rushed and felt so heard and understood when it came to our needs.
Our little family is so grateful for Carissa’s expertise, guidance and care for us as our doula. Our daughter was born unexpectedly three weeks early and if it hadn’t been for the in home sessions and labor assistance we had from her the weeks prior, I’m not sure how things would have gone!
