What families say
I had the privilege of having Elaine as my doula, and she was absolutely amazing! From the moment we met, she took the time to understand my past birthing trauma and made it a priority to ensure my comfort and well-being throughout the entire process.
I just want to say, Elaine, with Heartstrings Doula service, IS THE ONE YOU WANT BY YOUR SIDE! She made me feel like family, INSTANTLY! We discussed very intimate things prior to my birth, and she never once judged me, or made me feel uncomfortable.
I had the pleasure of having Elaine as my doula at my last birth and was able to take her Dancing to Birth class as well! The class was educational as well as physical and helped prep my body for labor. I was able to have a VBAC after 2 cesareans and shocked the doctors.
Elaine was amazing! I could not have asked for a better support person by my side while I was in labor. She stuck with me for the 12 hours of labor in the birth center and the 2 hours of pushing. Her calm demeanor guided me through intense contractions as I chose to give birth unmedicated.
