Colleen and Annette took their time getting to know my husband and I, what our preferences for birth were, and provided all the support we needed in the process. We received regular check-ins, tons of recommendations and resources, and lots of care to prepare us for the big day.
This in-home support service, with our incredible caregiver Marnie, was a thoughtful gift from a four-time mom, Liz, who tried so hard to warn me about how rough postpartum life is. We received consistent care twice a week for 2.5 hours.
My baby was born during my husband’s clinical year of Physician’s Assistant school. This means that shortly after her birth, he was away on rotations in different cities and not home to help me recover from birth and take care of our newborn and toddler.
