What families say
If I could give 10 stars I totally would !! Shiphra was amazing ! As a first time mami hiring her was the best decision. We had multiple phone meetings leading up to the birth to prepare for all things, like postpartum, day of birth, how I am personally feeling, how am I getting ready for baby.
I initially decided to not hire a doula for my second home birth. However, I met Shiphrah while attending my midwife appointments and remember immediately feeling comfortable with her. Once I found out she was available to attend the birth of my son, we immediately hired her as our doula.
I contacted Shiphrah for a birthworker consultation to discuss my interest in midwifery. She was professional, kind, and REAL about the realities of the work and the challenges in getting there.
I found from my recent experience, speaking to Shiphrah helped me gain knowledge and understanding of what exactly I was looking for. She took the time and was very detailed and even encouraging! I definitely recommend Shiphrah and Foremothers Birth and Wellness!
