What families say
To try to find the words to summarize all the ways that Jennifer was helpful during both my births and recoveries would be near impossible, but I’ll give it a try. It’s like having your best friend with medical knowledge and a mother’s touch all wrapped in one.
A dad's perspective: While I wanted to be the main support person for my wife (Michaela) during labor, I knew that even if I knew the right thing to say or do, my wife would probably not take it so well. This is where Jen comes in. Jen has a perfect attitude, and she can read the room perfectly.
I met Jen in 2018 when my wife was pregnant with our 5th child. She was a doula for us for our 5th and 6th. As a medical professional I come from a different perspective than many.
Approaching the birth of our first child, my husband and I appreciated having Jen’s expertise to guide us. Her confidence and experience–specifically with the hospital where we’d be giving birth–led us to hire her, and she helped us feel very secure leading up to labor.
