What families say
Last year we had the privilege of working with the most amazing Dox the Doula for the welcoming of our daughter. From the educational standpoint and home visits, to speaking to my heart and confidence in the process… is beyond any review I could give.
It has taken me some time to sit down and write this, partly because motherhood has kept me busy but mostly because it has been quite difficult to put into words all that Dox means to me and my family. Several years before conceiving, I began “drafting” my dream team.
I interviewed seven very nice doulas before meeting with Dox, and I knew she was the one before the call was over. She led the conversation and made me feel like I wouldn’t be the one doing all the work to have my needs met with my first pregnancy.
Words can’t fully capture the impact Lauren had on our birthing experience, but I’ll try. From the moment we met her, she was a calming and empowering presence for both my husband and me. This wasn’t our first time with a doula, but it was the first time we truly felt the profound benefits.
