“The prenatal yoga and reiki sessions that were included were wonderful additions and I opted to add in another private prenatal yoga class as I found it so helpful.”
“Amanda helped me advocate for my birth plan and ensured I felt empowered throughout the entire 5 day labour, even when ultimately it ended in a c-section.”
What families say
Liza Hunwick was my postpartum Doula for 10 weeks after I gave birth to my daughter. As a solo mama I knew I needed extra support but I never could have imagined what an important role Liza would play in my early motherhood experience. She listened to me like a friend would.
Meeting Jen and Debra was the best thing that happened to us during our pregnancy. We worked with Jen as our doula and we attended Debra’s breastfeeding classes and baby prep course. We learned a lot from them. They have enormous knowledge and amazing experience about pregnancy, labor, breastfeeding and babies.
We worked closely with Debra Woods as our birth doula over the past year, and also took several of her prenatal classes. Debra was consistently sensitive, informative, open-minded, and kind; we honestly can't praise her enough. During the birth process, Debra's presence was absolutely vital for us.
We had the opportunity to work with all of these wonderful ladies throughout my pregnancy and postpartum. Liza's prenatal yoga got me moving and preparing for labour. Amanda's pre and post natal acupuncture helped get some much needed time out, her impromptu massages for aching muscles were so much appreciated too.
