What families say
We had a phenomenal experience with Dana and Madeline at Doulas of Duluth. We are new to the area and had our first child in April. Dana was a perfect fit for all our support needs prenatally. Working with her, I felt prepared to advocate for myself in Dr appts (including completely changing clinics!
Hiring a doula was the best decision for our pregnancy, labor and birth and postpartum experience. We hired Dana and had Zomi as a second doula if needed. With a 30 hour long labor, I was so thankful I had a doula there to keep me focused on the end result which was welcoming our baby into the world.
Dana was perhaps the most integral key to my support team when I delivered my son. She sent words of encouragement, helped guide me through the experience, and created an environment where I was in charge of my son’s birth.
I could write a novel to explain all the many ways I valued Dana’s presence during my labor. She’s so sweet, and strong, and easy to connect with. She knew just when to back off, and just when to push me harder. I wish I had the wherewithal to listen to her more than I did, because she was ALWAYS spot on.
